Step1: Lead in (watching a short video to interest the students in the topic)
Step2: Presentation
1. To present the two sentences with the simple past tense and then combine them into one sentence by using the past perfect tense.
2. To introduce the definition of the past perfect tense to the students.
3. To do more practice to help the students further understand the past perfect tense.
Step3: Presentation
1.To help the students go over the past participle forms by practicing and help the students work out the rules.
2.To present the various sentence forms about the past perfect tense and do some practice to help them understand and use the tense correctly.

1. To finish Part A3.
